Children and water. A fascination and attraction that can be compared to few others. Do you feel the same way about your children? As soon as a puddle is in sight, children are magically drawn to the watering hole. Splashing, splashing, splashing, splashing, diving and at best: swimming!
Unfortunately, the wet element is not without danger. Extreme caution should always be exercised with non-swimmer children. Because even when playing in shallow water, you can quickly get further into the cool water than planned or fall in from the edge. A nightmare for parents if you just think about it. The best and safest way to avert danger is to take a swimming course. And yes, even if mum and dad are great exercise companions – swimming is always best learned by a professional. Then no mistakes creep in in the posture and professional swimming instructors also know best what is important to make children really safe swimmers. And who knows, maybe the passion will stay forever. An active and at the same time gentle leisure activity, because swimming is also one of the healthiest hobbies for young people and adults.
So much for the theory.
Sounds simple and easy to understand. In reality, unfortunately, it quickly turns out that swimming course places are rare. If you haven’t been put on waiting lists well in advance or know someone who knows someone who… Well, especially in larger cities, they have to make a real effort to get one of the coveted places. Due to Corona, the already slightly tense situation has now deteriorated dramatically. There are at least two cohorts of children who have not been able to attend swimming lessons due to the lockdowns. Especially in view of the summer time, a huge gap has to be closed very quickly and a large number of children are trained to become little frogs and mermaids .
Children’s swimming at Lake Achensee
To whom we are speaking from the bottom of our souls, here is our tip: We know what to do and offer swimming courses for our guest children at the family paradise Sporthotel Achensee. Here, your little ones will be professionally guided and trained in Fred’s Swim Academy . Fun and joy come first, but always with the aim of getting your little ones used to the water and making them safe swimmers. Fred the Frog is a true swimming expert and shows the little water rats in a playful way how to move in the water. By using state-of-the-art training equipment, our swimming instructors ensure the correct execution.
Our offer in our in-house swimming school
Swimming lessons for children from 4 years, which take place from Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 09:00 and cost Euro 20.00 per child and unit. For the smaller children up to 3 years there is the baby swimming. Also Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The costs here amount to 10.00 euros per child and unit. Here there is also a parent in the water.
